How is MVB Bank responding?

Our Executive Leadership Team continues to monitor ongoing developments related to COVID-19. Our top leaders feel so strongly about the importance of ensuring the health and safety of our Team and clients that they have mobilized a Pandemic Team. Every member of our Executive Leadership Team volunteered to be part of MVB’s Pandemic Team. The Pandemic Team meets daily and is working from MVB’s existing Pandemic Plan managed by Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity. The Pandemic Team has created a Risk Planning guide and also a Communication Plan.

Actions we have taken:

  • We have reached out to the companies that provide cleaning services to our facilities to ensure they are taking essential precautions.
  • We have educated Team MVB on the CDC’s personal hygiene recommendations.
  • We are following CDC guidelines for self-quarantine of Team Members who feel sick, who have visited a high-risk area or who live with someone who has visited a high-risk area.
  • We have a plan for communicating with our Team and valued clients.
  • We have suspended non-essential business travel and all airline travel until further notice.
  • We are strongly recommending restricting non-essential personal travel until further notice.
  • We have canceled in-person Team training events and meetings.
  • Team Members whose job responsibilities allow them to work remotely are doing so. We have also made plans for those Team Members who are unable to work remotely.
  • We closed our Leesburg, VA, and Charles Town, WV, banking centers out of an abundance of caution. We will notify clients when they reopen.
  • Our other banking center lobbies are open by appointment only. Drive-thru service is available where that is an option, along with ITMs and ATMs throughout our footprint.
